Open text analysis

UsabilityHub allows you to quantify open ended text responses with tags, making it easier to identify trends and share insights with stakeholders. Tagging responses is extremely easy and it’s possible tag responses individually or several at once.

How to tag open text responses

  1. Go to an open text result section and click edit tags in the upper right hand corner
  2. From here you can search through responses by keywords you’re looking for
  3. Select the relevant responses you want to tag by clicking their respective checkboxes on the left
  4. Click the Add/edit tags button to the right of the search box
  5. Type in the name of the tag you wish to add and hit enter
  6. You will see the tag added to the bottom of the selected responses
  7. You can now also see the tags quantified by selecting the Tags tab above the search box

  • Tags you create and edit are persisted and visible to everyone that can access the test results
  • Responses are not tagged automatically so it’s best to wait until you have collected all of your responses before tagging them
  • Open text analysis is an advanced feature and is only available on the Pro and Team plans
