Each test created on Lyssna must be in a single language. When creating your test you can select your preferred language, otherwise your default test language will be used.
The language setting controls two things:
The language of the test interface, including introductory instructions, the demographic survey, button text, etc.
Which Lyssna panelists are eligible to take the test if an order is placed. Only users who speak this language are eligible.
The test creator is responsible for writing test instructions and questions in the same language they have selected for the test.
How to update your default test language
Click the drop-down from the navigation bar in the top right corner and select Test branding.
At the bottom of the page, under Test language, you can select your preferred language from the drop-down menu.
Use the drop-down to select your preferred language and click Save.
All tests you create will start out in your default language, but you can also update it for individual tests if you want to run one from a different language than your default.
Updating your test language when creating your test
Each test form has a field to select the language for that particular test. Select your preferred language from the drop-down menu.

Translating your results
If you want to run your test in one language but view or share your results in another, you can either translate on the Results page itself, or in the tool you use to export your results.
Right now we only support Google Translate and it can sometimes cause the Results page to crash, especially if you have a large number of responses. If you select to turn it on, you'll see a warning message that will advise you to try to reload the page if it crashes. If you continue to have trouble, you can export to a CSV and use the translation feature within your spreadsheet tool.
