You can sign up for a Lyssna account with your Google account instead of using your email address and creating a password. This can make your account more secure (and will save you from having to remember another password).

Signing up

To get started click on the 'Create account with Google' button at the bottom of the signup form.

Signing in

If you have previously created an account with Google you will need to click on the 'Sign in with Google' button at the bottom of the sign-in form.

Common questions

Can I convert my email/password account to a Google account?

Not right now. If you signed up with an email and password, you can’t sign in with Google. This is something we’re looking at supporting in the future.

If I invite new collaborators to join my account, can they sign up with Google?

Yes. When you invite someone to join you at Lyssna, they will be able to choose to either sign up with Google or sign up with their email and password.

Can I make sure my collaborators only sign up with Google?

Not right now. Get in touch and let us know if you need this feature.

Why can’t I change my password or email address?

If you signed up with Google, you won’t be able to change your password because you technically don’t have a password in our system. You can’t change your email either, because that is part of your Google account settings, not your Lyssna account settings.

Can I switch back to an email/password account?

Not right now. We may look at supporting this in the future.

I made a mistake - can you convert my account for me?

Unfortunately not. If you’ve signed up with the wrong method, you’ll need to create a new account with a different email address.
